Short Bio

Interests include documenting the presence of absence, time studies of abandoned buildings, refrigerator interiors, communities transitioning from one identity to another.

Master of Fine Arts, Imaging and Digital Arts, University of Maryland Baltimore County, 2007.
Bachelor of Science, Computer Science, Florida International University, 1982.

Steering Committee, Art-O-Matic 2000, collaboration with other artists, Cultural Development Corporation and District of Columbia Commission on the Arts to produce its first annual large public art exhibit involving close to 1,000 artists in the D.C. area.

Studied research methods, cultural documentation, and materials preservation with the Library of Congress Folklife Field School.  Findings presented at the Smithsonian Institution Folklife Festival in Washington, DC.

Photography exhibits, invitational solo and group shows, juried auctions, and awards received in Maryland, Virginia, and District of Columbia. 

Born in New Haven, CT,  Roz recently returned to CT, where she is a practicing artist and active member of the community.
